Fish Finatix began at one of its two present sites near Woodford, Qld in 2006. We have since moved to the Sunshine Coast as well. We have an emphasis on many different catfish, corydoras, angels, guppys, and endlers in particular, with various other fish like rams, whiptails, rainbows, and cichlids. We continually adapt to species that customers require, so variety can change over time.
In the last few years, Anna and I have expanded the operation, by adding a wide range of ceramics to our price list. We produce ceramics to our own design from beginning to end, totally unique, and all hand made. We fire all items in a large kiln on the premises. Our designs are borne from our own experience in fish breeding, and all are tested long before arriving on the market.
We respect the safe keeping of the bio diversity of Australia. In this regard we maintain our core policy of locally produced and grown product only. Not one item on our list is imported – or ever will be. We strive to carry a wide range of home bred and grown fish, and will therefore never have any imported fish diseases in our stock. While all facilities will inevitable carry parasites, I have not had a disease in the facility for years, and aim to be keeping it so. This sets us apart from all other wholesalers.
It is our intention to remain compact and focused. We will supply only top quality product at highly competitive prices and standards. We consistently supply a better, larger, and healthier fish than can currently be imported. Our large sizes of robust, healthy fish, have become synonymous with our great name.
Our ceramics have a reputation second to none. All of our product is hand made with local Australian components, and made right here on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. The individual nature of each piece again sets us apart. No copies of the exact same thing in plastic or resin as others sell. Every item is hand made, and individual.
